MySharks.com began as children's dinnerware. At the time, I was becoming increasingly aware of the plight of the shark: many shark species are endangered, and some are already extinct! The problem, I think, is that we all think they're scary. Thus began smiling, whimsical sharks swimming on funky, cheery backgrounds. You can still see the dinnerware beginnings in the designs: often round, and bordered with terra-cotta color.
