Artist Nancy Rustad takes her inspiration from the world of children, and is especially influenced by her nieces and nephews. In Nancy’s shark dinnerware, koi paintings, decorative painting and pottery, you will always find a smile or surprise.
With a degree in fine arts (design) from the University of Wisconsin, Nancy has never stopped studying. During the last several years she has taken many courses and classes in both painting and ceramics while traveling worldwide with her husband – adding a global perspective to her work. Nancy has won many regional awards.
The Rustad Workshop has been in operation intermittently since the early 1990’s, providing gifts and fine art to gift shops, design studios, and corporate commissions.
Now relocated back in Wisconsin, Nancy lives in Mount Horeb with her husband and two cats. She enjoys spending time with her extended family, and the hardware store is still her favorite place to shop |
